The digital evolution of Trigammon™
TrigammonX is the digital version of Trigammon, the three-player backgammon-style strategy game originally developed by William “Bill” Bailey and Dennis Angelica in the late 1970s.
TrigammonX is being developed to bring the movement, timing, blocking, risk and three-player interaction of the tabletop game to computers, tablets and mobile devices. The project is designed around the core Trigammon game while also allowing for modern digital features and optional backgammon-style game variants.
Planned features
Development may include:
- three-player digital gameplay
- guided legal moves
- automatic turn progression
- board rotation for each player
- selectable dice options
- computer-controlled opponents
- online multiplayer play
- optional game variants

Features may change as development and playtesting continue.
Connected to the original tabletop game
